Since 2007 citizens have been able to report minor crimes online by using the application Police-on-web. In addition, the so-called “absence notification” and Aline - which allows you to register alarm system installations online - are also accessible via Police-on-web.
Since 2007 citizens have been able to report minor crimes, such as bicycle theft or shoplifting and vandalism, online by using the application Police-on-web. This online service is accessible 24/7 and can be used by means of an electronic identity card or through a user account on Belgium.be. So it is an easy, secure and fast online procedure.
In addition, Police-on-web has for some time now also offered "absence notification". This means that you can notify the police when you will be away on vacation or for any other reason. So the police can keep an eye on things during your absence. This reduces the risk of burglary and neighbourhood crime.
Since 1 July 2010 it has been a legal requirement to register alarm system installations. With Aline, Fedict enables this registration to be done online. Aline too is accessible via policeonweb.belgium.be
